Ideal Carpenter
My name is Jeff Danielson. I wanted to provide some background information on myself, my
family and Ideal Carpenter. I am a graduate of Southwest High School in Minneapolis. After high school, I attended Alexandria Technical College where I received an Associate Degree in Carpentry and Design. I continued my education at Hennepin Technical College studying Business/Accounting and Blueprint Reading/Estimating.
Immeditately after tech school I started my remodeling career. In the beginning, I worked on framing room additions and pole barns. After 4 years of framing, I started trimming with Lundgren Bros out of Wayzata, Minnesota; I spent 3 years with Lundgren working as a trim carpenter remodeling kitchens, family rooms, and large scale additions. After working for Lundgren, I started out on my own in the remodeling business, working as a sub-contractor for several larger contractors in the Minneapolis metro area.
In 1992 I had the opportunity to begin working as a sub-contractor for my brother-in-law who
was in the remodeling business; this partnership lasted 15 years. While working with my brother-in-law, I met and married a lovely lady from Northeast Minneapolis and we started Ideal Carpenter in 2007; Lori now works as the office manager for Ideal Carpenter. On average, we employ three persons during the summer and two persons during the winter. Ideal Carpenter is a young company but a young company with many success stories and many satisfied customers.
My hobbies include fishing and hunting. Although lately, my three boys, ages 17 and twin boys 14, keep both my wife and I busy with all of the sport activities they participate in. We have resided in Coon Rapids for 11 years now. I'm an active member of the Coon Rapids Police Reserve; this provides me with the opportunity to help out the community in many ways. And recently, Lori and I became the Booster Club chair-persons/representatives for the Coon Rapids High School Freshman football team. In addition to sports, my boys are now showing a lot of interest in the construction business and are willing to learn at any time.
We are busy but I would not change anything in all that we do. And through it all, after 25 years in the remodeling business, I still love to go to work each day.
I look forward to speaking to you about your remodeling needs.
Thank you,
Jeff Danielson
